Weehawken Meetup Wrap Up

On Saturday, January 20th around 6am around 30 passionate and determined photographers huddle together on a sidewalk overlooking the New York City skyline from the heights of Weehawken, New Jersey. With the sun about to come up in an hour, the tripods lined the fences and cameras were getting set for the BIG event.

The sky began to slowly light up and some wispy clouds began to roll in overhead. They were all getting excited for the show of colors they were about to witness. Within less than an hour, everyone was mesmerized and amazed by the quickly changing colors drifting across the sky with the NYC concrete jungle setting the silhouette on the horizon.

The NJspots community was more than pleased with the amazing sunrise scene we were all able to witness and capture the colors and clouds across the sky made waking up that early a little bit easier (just a little bit!). It was amazing to see the incredible shots that came from our #NJspotsMeet in Weekhawken.

It was a great spot (thanks to our Team Member Marlon) to witness the sunrise over one of the biggest cities in the world. Below are some of the amazing shots that came from our meetup. Be sure to check them all out from the event on Instagram with the hashtag #NJspotsMeet.
