Photography Scavenger Hunt:
Union County
Get Your Camera Ready for Our New Jersey Scavenger Hunt!
Want a little adventure? We’ve created a scavenger hunt for every county in New Jersey. You can see them all here.
So grab your camera, download the map below, and head our to get some new photos and explore some new places!
We realize that your favorite photo spot might not be on the list, and that’s ok! These maps and lists are designed to get you to some new spots you might not have explored in the Garden State.
Once you’ve crossed all the spots off the list, let us know and we’ll send you a sticker!
Echo Lake Park
Walk along the lake in Mountainside and take pictures of the dam — especially amazing in the fall!
Watchung Reservation
Take a hike through Watchung Reservation — there are many points of entry. Check out our full guide for Watchung Reservation for more information on what you might want to see first.
The Deserted Village
The Deserted Village of Feltville is just one part of Watchung Reservation, and it is said to be haunted!
For more deserted/haunted spots, check out our guide.
Reeves-Reed Arboretum
This spot is one of our favorite arboretums in New Jersey! Check out the daffodil bowl in the spring, the rose garden in the summer, the trees in the fall, and the greenhouse in the winter. You can’t go wrong!
For more arboretums, check out our map.
Warinanco Park
Explore the gardens and wooded areas of this park near Elizabeth.
Marciante-Jackson-Millet Park/Elizabeth Marina
Walk along the water at Marciante-Jackson-Millet Park in Elizabeth. And when you’re done there, check out next-door Elizabeth Marina. Both will get you unique images.
This is from a series “Photography Scavenger Hunt.” Contact editor Abbey Dufoe if you have suggestions for spots to add!
