Meetup Wrapup: Sunset Hike at Mount Tammany

Mount Tammany — one of the most epic (if not THE MOST) spots in New Jersey to hike and overlook the Delaware Water Gap. We were stoked to work together with our friends at the Pennsylvania Collective on the 2-Part Hiking Meet for this summer. Gathering with a couple dozen other outdoor enthusiasts, we completed the trek and climb of Mount Tammany towering over the Delaware Water Gap.

Meeting some new people and catching up with some NJspots Community Veterans, we were in awe on the turn out for our hike. Despite the sunset not cooperating like it should have, we had some great laughs, spotted some cool wildlife (including a BEAR!), and made some great new friendships!

Thank you to all those that came out and shared your Saturday evening with us! We can’t wait for our sunrise meetup on the other side of the Delaware Water Gap hiking up Mount Minsi in July!

Here are some snaps and captures from the meet!
