Among New Jersey’s many gems is Grounds For Sculpture, a botanical garden and art exhibit in one. Located on the former NJ State Fairgrounds, it features larger than life pieces of art that will make you feel tiny in comparison. With 42 landscaped acres and over 270 sculptures to explore, it’s easy to get lost, but that’s arguably the best way to explore. You might even run into some wildlife along the way!
Princeton, New Jersey is home to Princeton University, filled with awesome buildings and amazing architecture, next to a town packed with good eats and shopping. That’s why it’s one of our top spots in New Jersey. So take this virtual guide with you as you explore (and believe us, there’s plenty to do!).
One of the best views of the Delaware River is waiting at the Thomas F. Breden Preserve in Milford, New Jersey. Tucked away in between Holland and Milford is an enjoyable mix of forest hiking and open field wandering that leads to breathtaking views of the Delaware River reaching out into the distance. (more…)
Venturing east out of New Jersey’s capital city of Trenton, you will enter the Township of Hamilton. This 40-square-mile township is the state’s 9th-largest municipality, and within it, you’ll experience plenty of fascinating New Jersey history. One of the most prominent pieces in Hamilton’s historical collection is the John Abbott II House (circa 1730), located on Kuser Road right alongside Veteran’s Park. Let’s travel back in time. (more…)
