The highlight of Rutgers Gardens is the Bamboo Forest (yes, they have a bamboo forest). We were immersed by giant sticks of bamboo coming from all directions. It's pretty easy to get lost and forget that you’re in New Jersey and not the Himalayas.

NJspots will be hosting an Instameet on Saturday September 30th at Palisades Interstate Park. We are meeting at 1pm at the Fort Lee Historic Park parking lot and begin walking at 1:30pm.
NJspots recently toured the Hackensack River with the NJSEA for a private boat tour. This was a great spot for wildlife and bird photography.
