Home to the busiest bridge in America, Fort Lee, New Jersey is a great place for cityscape photographers and hikers alike. Palisades Park runs parallel to Manhattan in this area, while also offering great views of the New York City skyline in the George Washington Bridge.
There's lots to photograph!
A lot of photographers will take bridge photos and photos of the architecture, but some people don’t realize how great of a birding spot this is, too.
With the cliffs of the Palisades, there are several different types of birds of prey that live in this area. So be sure to grab your zoom lens, tripod, and a lot of patience to check out some of the amazing species in this area.
Go for a hike, too
There are also some great hiking trails along this area for all levels of hiking. Whether you are a beginner or looking for a more extreme climb there is plenty of opportunities to do everything — and more.
